Newbolt Sir Henry Newbolt was neither as prolific a writer as William McGonagall nor quite as well known as Rudyard Kipling, but he did write one poem that encapsulated the attitude of Victorian and Edwardian Middle and Upper Classes - Vitai Lampada.
